Job summary

Colonial Group in Memphis, TN seeks a Maintenance Technician to support a high-volume industrial laundry facility. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance on washers, dryers, and related equipment, working with a team to keep production flowing safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting with manuals and schematics, ordering parts, maintaining maintenance records, and upholding safety protocols including lock-out/tag-out.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated mechanical and basic electrical aptitude.
• Familiar with preventive maintenance schedules and safety procedures.
• Ability to read manuals and schematics.
• Good verbal and written communication; team-oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all plant equipment including high volume industrial washers and/or dryers.
• Repairs, replaces equipment when necessary; performs basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work.
• Troubleshoots and solves technical issues by following manuals and schematics.
• Orders necessary parts, tools, and equipment per company policy.
• Maintains daily/maintenance schedules and records.
• Conducts waste solids processing and wastewater maintenance tasks as needed.
• Upholds safety and housekeeping practices; follows lock-out/tag-out procedures.
