Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support an industrial laundry facility in Cincinnati. You will ensure safe, expeditious and accurate execution of routine maintenance according to a daily preventive schedule.

The role requires mechanical and basic electrical aptitude, experience with laundry equipment, and the ability to follow manuals and safety rules. Shifts are 9am–5:30pm, Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years maintenance experience required.
• Basic knowledge of industrial laundry equipment and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintains plant equipment including high‑volume washers and dryers.
• Repairs or replaces equipment; performs basic plumbing, mechanical and electrical work.
• Troubleshoots issues using manuals and schematics.
• Orders parts/tools per procurement policy.
• Maintains daily maintenance schedule and records.
• Performs waste solids handling from treatment processes.
• Applies safety procedures and keeps workspace clean.
