Colonial Group is seeking an 1st shift Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Texas to perform preventive maintenance on high-volume laundry equipment, troubleshoot, and ensure safe operation. Role requires reading manuals, following schematics, and collaborating with a maintenance team.

The position runs 4:00 am–12:30 pm, with potential overtime, and pays $27.00 per hour. High school diploma and 3–5 years of maintenance experience are expected at hiring.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years maintenance experience.
• Experience with safety procedures and lockout/tagout.
• Familiarity with industrial laundry equipment and basic electrical/mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all plant equipment including high volume industrial washers and dryers.
• Repairs and replaces equipment; performs basic plumbing, mechanical and electrical work.
• Troubleshoots and solves technical issues using manuals and schematics.
• Orders parts and tools per company procurement policy.
• Maintains daily preventative maintenance schedule and records.
