Job summary

Tradebe is seeking a Laborer to support daily plant operations through material handling, equipment operation, and general facility upkeep. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced industrial environment where safety is the top priority.

At the East Chicago, IN facility, you will assist with container movements, operate forklifts, perform housekeeping, and help ensure compliance with permits and regulations while maintaining a safe, productive workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Industrial, warehouse, or labor experience preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Ability to work on-site and perform physical work.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with container movements and plant operations
• Perform housekeeping activities and area inspections
• Safely operate forklifts and other equipment as trained
• Follow all safety, environmental, and operating procedures
• Support compliance with facility permits and regulations

Opportunity Highlights

• Location: East Chicago, IN

• Shift:3rd Shift | Sunday Night - Friday Morning | 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

• Pay Range: $19.90 - $20.63 per hour
  • Base Pay: $18.90 per hour starting; Increases to $19.63 per hour after 90 days;
  • Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour
