Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Proficient at reading engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with CMMS platform and software.
• Solid understanding of preventive maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and PLC.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift, including every other weekend.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate/bachelor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines running smoothly and systems efficient.
• Inspect, operate, or test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine corrections from manuals and drawings.
• Use tools ranging from hand tools to electrical testing devices.
• Perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and component replacement on electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints and drawings to complete tasks.
• Utilize CMMS platform for maintenance tracking and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment for optimal performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
• Assist in other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
