Job summary

Pillar Innovations is seeking an IT Technician to install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and support IT systems within a data center and industrial power plant environment. You will work hands-on with computers, networking equipment, servers, cabling, and related IT infrastructure to support critical plant and data center operations.

The role requires 1–3 years of IT or related experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1–3 years IT, networking, data center operations or related field preferred.
Strong understanding of basic computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
Ability to read and understand basic technical documentation, diagrams, and equipment specifications.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, connectivity, and equipment issues.
Respond to IT service requests and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
Escalate complex issues to senior IT personnel, network engineers, controls personnel, or other appropriate departments.
Document troubleshooting activities, repairs, equipment changes, and system configurations.
