Austin Industrial is seeking an Insulator in Taylor, TX for a full-time, on-site role. You will apply, remove, and repair insulating material on surfaces and equipment to maintain temperatures and reduce noise. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, and securing insulation, with safety as a priority.

The position requires up to 50 pounds lifting, comfort with working at heights, and NCCER/TWIC requests along with a valid driver’s license. Equal opportunity employer.

Competenze

• Education – no minimum education requirements.
• Experience – 4 years of experience in Insulator is preferred.
• Certification/License – NCCER, a Valid TWIC Card, and a Driver’s License.

Mansioni

• Reads blueprints and selects required insulation material.
• Work at heights with no fear.
• Brush adhesives on or attach metal adhesive application to insulation material.
• Determine the amounts and select required insulation material (in sheet, tubular, or roll form).
• Measure and cut insulation material to specified size and shape.
• Fit, wrap, or attach insulation material around the structure following blueprint specifications.
• Seal insulation with covers, tape or sealant as needed.
