Job summary
Reotemp Instruments, a national manufacturer of industrial temperature and pressure instrumentation, seeks a high-energy Technical Business Development Manager for the San Diego Business Unit. The role blends aggressive market development with application engineering, requiring dialog with maintenance managers and design engineers.
You will hunt new OEM accounts, map opportunities, and coordinate with factory engineering to meet complex temperature/pressure needs while supporting our wireless
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years in technical sales, field engineering, or business development in industrial instrumentation.
- Hands-on knowledge of thermocouples, RTDs, pressure transmitters, thermometers or related sensors.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for field operations and customer meetings.
- BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or related practical field experience.
Responsibilities
- Travel extensively with the sales team to provide technical expertise and product demonstrations.
- Identify and secure new OEM accounts and large-scale enterprise clients.
- Walk plant floors with engineers to translate requirements into engineered solutions.
- Act as the factory liaison for technical inquiries and escalation.
- Promote the wireless monitoring platform during routine sales calls.
