Job summary

Cocoafl in Florida seeks an Instrumentation Technician to install, test, repair, and calibrate metering and recording instruments, control devices, data logging, and telemetry systems. You will work closely with SCADA Analysts and Industrial Electricians to complete maintenance tasks, both proactively and reactively.

Essential duties include calibrating signals, inspecting valves and sensors, and preparing schematic drawings.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 3 years of highly automated electronics instrumentation experience.
• Knowledge of meters for measurement of flow, temperature, and pressure.
• Knowledge of PLCs and digital/analog control circuitry.
• Ability to read specifications and blueprints.
• Must possess Florida driver’s license or be able to obtain within 45 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, repair, inspect, and maintain industrial instruments for flow, temp, pressure control.
• Calibrate, install and work with digital and analog signals (4–20 mA).
• Install and repair radar sensors, mag meters, and pressure sensors; calibrate VFDs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on telemetry systems.
• On-site work is required; may coordinate with outside contractors.
