Job summary

Peoples Gas System in Florida is seeking Measurement & Instrumentation Technicians I-III to maintain and operate gas measurement and control systems across multiple sites in N. Miami, Jupiter, Sarasota or Ft. Myers.

The role covers installation, calibration, testing, SCADA interfaces, and coordinating with project teams, with increasing responsibility from Tech I to Tech III. A high school diploma and proficiency with MS Office, plus strong mechanical skills, are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency with Word, Access and Excel and strong mechanical abilities.
• Detailed knowledge of EPA, DOT, RRC, OSHA, NEC, AGA, API and GPA requirements and SOPs.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with customers.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain gas measurement equipment and SCADA systems.
• Perform accuracy testing and calibration on meters and instrumentation.
• Maintain and calibrate SCADA field equipment and communications links.
• Coordinate gate station instrumentation and control installations.
