Job summary

ReGenerate Energy Holdings LLC seeks an Instrumentation and Electrical Technician to operate, maintain, and repair plant instrumentation and control systems. This role ensures reliable process data and adheres to safety and regulatory standards.

The technician will install and service electrical equipment, calibrate instruments, read blueprints, and troubleshoot complex electrical issues, contributing to efficiency and energy reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 5+ years power generation experience; college degree preferred.
• Strong familiarity with Electrical Safety practices and Arc Flash Hazard Awareness.
• Experience working with NEC/NFPA 70 standards.
• Ability to work with electrical systems with voltage ranging from 24 VDC to 13.8 kV.
• Ability to coordinate 115 kV maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand schematic, blueprints and logic diagrams.
• 3-phase motor troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate and maintain all plant instrumentation and process control equipment.
• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment, such as motors, switch gear, wiring, cables, lighting fixtures, etc.
• Perform routine calibrations on all plant instrumentation to ensure accurate operating and control data.
• Troubleshoot and isolate electronic and electrical problems; implement corrective actions as appropriate.
• Read and interpret plans, diagrams and specifications.
• Provide estimates of time and materials required; requisition tools and supplies in accordance with established procedures.
• Plan and lay out work is accordance with applicable standards and codes.
• Prepare and maintain documentation and reports, as required.
• Recommend changes to improve efficiency and/or quality of electronic and/or electrical operations, as appropriate.
• Maintain a safe work environment through job planning, housekeeping and identification and correction of hazards.
• Must be able to complete ReEnergy Electrical Qualification.
• Perform other comparable and related duties, as assigned.
