• 2+ years in industrial steel fabrication or sales.
• Experience in calculating proportions, circumference and volume.
• Experience in selling in the industrial market (B2B).
• Excellent written and oral communication with internal and external customers.

• Problem solving, time management and organizational skills.
• Professional demeanor and cross-department collaboration.
• Ability to learn new skills and technology for fabrication needs.
• Proficient telephone etiquette and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain key customers to ensure a profitable base of industrial business.
• Identify target lead decision makers to initiate the sales process.
• Provide profitable transactional business through solicitation, quotes, emails or other tools.
• Estimate and quote customer projects; convert opportunities to invoiced sales.
• Exceed sales goals across product lines with market-driven leads.
• Coordinate changes in orders and communicate with affected departments.
• Plan and execute sales in the defined territory; create new opportunities.
• Monitor industry trends and technical developments affecting target accounts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure timely responses.
• Articulate product benefits to customers by addressing needs over the phone.
