Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (1+ year).
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in an industrial environment (manufacturing, distribution, oil & gas).
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical if applicable.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Source new sales growth opportunities through inbound lead follow up, proactive calls and emails.
• Record, track, and follow up on quotes/estimates.
• Assist customers with recommendations of product type, quality, and quantity of merchandise sought for purchase.
• Compute charges for merchandise or services and handle payments in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist in corporate inventory controls.
• Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
• Assist branch in administrative functions such as recordkeeping, billing, time and attendance, accounting functions and communication with corporate departments.
• Perform other functions as required.
