Job summary

Hardin Power Group is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to drive the frontline of our sales engine in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. You will handle inbound inquiries, build and send accurate quotes, support outside reps with back-end tasks, and proactively pursue opportunities to keep the pipeline moving.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of inside sales or sales support experience in electrical distribution or industrial equipment.
• Working knowledge of low- and medium-voltage electrical equipment.
• Ability to read nameplates, specs, and one-line diagrams to build quotes.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Sharp attention to detail and organized multitasking.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Field inbound calls, emails, and web inquiries from contractors and facility teams and convert them into closed orders.
• Read and interpret electrical equipment specs to scope customer needs and prepare accurate quotes.
• Cross-sell services (rentals, decommissioning, rigging, demolition, recycling) to create a single-call experience.
• Support outside sales reps by building quotes, chasing submittals, and coordinating ship dates.
• Pass qualified leads to outside reps and follow up on open quotes to prevent deals from stalling.
• Maintain records of customers, quotes, orders, and inventory as equipment moves through lifecycle.
