Job summary

Cooper Machinery Services is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in the United States to be the trusted voice for customers, handling quotes, orders, and delivery coordination. You will work with account managers and project managers to convert service into sales opportunities while maintaining a customer-first approach.

Ideal candidates have 5–7+ years in relevant sales roles, strong mechanical knowledge, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• 5–7+ years in sales or customer care in oil & gas, power, heavy equipment, or automation & controls.
• Knowledgeable of engines and engine parts.
• Strong communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and customer-first mindset.
• Reading blueprints and shop manuals; SAP familiarity is a plus.
• Willing to participate in after-hours on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Own the full customer experience — managing price and delivery inquiries, formal quotes, sales orders, and service orders with speed and accuracy.
• Coordinate product deliveries across facilities and end-user sites worldwide.
• Build lasting relationships with customers, account managers, and project managers.
• Resolve customer issues quickly, escalating when needed.
• Maintain a customer-first mindset in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
• Own commercial transactions and navigate incoterms with confidence.
• Assist with warehouse tasks when needed and take on evolving responsibilities.
