A chemical manufacturing company in West Virginia is seeking an Instrumentation / Electrical Technician responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting site instrumentation and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-7 years of industrial experience and technical school education in relevant fields. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of education from a technical school in electrical, electronics, and instrumentation.
• 5-7 years of industrial experience.
• Must pass an aptitude and hands-on test.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation and electrical equipment.
• Work closely with Maintenance and Controls Engineers.
• Complete repairs efficiently to maintain safe operating capability.

Skills

Knowledge of calibration and diagnostic systems

Electrical systems maintenance

Troubleshooting electronic systems

Ability to read P&IDs

Familiarity with safety practices in chemical industry

Basic math skills

Computer literacy (Windows OS)
