Job summary
A leading chemical manufacturer in Lexington is looking for an Instrument Technician responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various instrumentation and control systems. Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or chemical plant environment is required.
- Must possess strong troubleshooting skills with pneumatic and electronic systems.
- Familiarity with DCS and PLC systems is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Review manuals and circuit diagrams to determine maintenance procedures.
- Inspect and test instruments and control systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults in control systems.
- Calibrate instrumentation according to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform preventive maintenance and maintain records.
- Install control and measurement instruments.
Skills
Industrial instrumentation and controls experience
Strong troubleshooting skills
Experience with DCS and PLCs
Ability to read electrical diagrams
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Experience with CMMS systems
Ability to work extended hours
