Job summary

Reworld is seeking an Instrument & Controls Technician to manage electrical and control equipment across the plant, troubleshoot DCS/PLC systems, calibrate instruments, and perform preventive maintenance. The role requires 5+ years in industrial environments, and a safety-first mindset with willingness to rotate shifts and overtime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with electronic/electrical and pneumatic systems in an industrial environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent with formal technical training.
• Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers and Distributive Control Systems.
• Ability to calibrate instrumentation (pressure, flow, temperature) and read electrical prints and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain instrument and control test, calibration, and repair areas and equipment.
• Assist in redesigning instrumentation, control, and electrical systems as needed.
• Monitor burning process as appropriate and perform other duties to ensure safe operation.
• Work rotating shifts and overtime including nights, weekends, holidays.
