Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing Company, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Hygienist to join the Environmental, Health and Safety team. You will lead IH programs, conduct audits, and drive data-based improvements across our manufacturing operations.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years IH experience in manufacturing, strong OSHA/IH knowledge, and the ability to mentor EHS staff while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene or related field required; master's preferred.
• 10+ years IH experience in industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Certification in Industrial Hygiene preferred or actively pursuing.
• Experience with air sampling and direct-reading IH equipment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with team focus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Form IH strategies and implement with internal/external partners.
• Conduct internal IH audits, investigations, and trend analysis reports.
• Drive long-term improvements using audit findings for safety programs.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to manage risk and change.
• Mentor EHS personnel and provide technical guidance.
