Technical & Engineering Consulting LLC, operating in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, seeks an Industrial Hygienist (IH) to lead IH programs, identify hazards, evaluate exposures, and implement controls for employee safety and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes exposure assessments, PPE and respiratory protection, SDS/HazCom responsibilities, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene or related field.
• Experience conducting IH assessments and exposure monitoring.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NIOSH, and applicable health standards.
• Pharma/manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Familiar with cGMP and EHS programs.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct IH assessments, inspections, and exposure evaluations.
• Perform exposure monitoring for chemicals, dust, noise, and other workplace hazards.
• Evaluate PPE requirements and respiratory protection programs.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments and recommend actions.
• Support SDS reviews and HazCom compliance.
• Investigate occupational exposure concerns, safety incidents, and near misses.
• Perform risk assessments, JHAs, and EHS inspections.
• Coordinate indoor air quality assessments and IH monitoring activities.
• Support contractor safety programs and site EHS initiatives.
• Maintain IH records, technical reports, and regulatory documentation.
• Recommend, implement, and follow up on controls (engineering, administrative, PPE).
• Deliver EHS/IH training and provide guidance to site personnel.
