Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Hygienist for a hybrid role based in Houston, TX; Phoenix, AZ; or Allentown, PA. You will mentor plant leaders in IH and Ergonomics, design exposure assessments, perform sampling and noise work, and collaborate across North America to improve health and safety.

The role requires 2–10 years of IH experience, U.S. regulations knowledge, and travel up to 50%. A bachelor’s degree is required, and a master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene or related field required.
• Experience in industrial gas/chemical settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support plant leaders on Industrial Hygiene topics.
• Develop strategies for quantitative workplace assessment including sampling.
• Conduct IH and Ergonomic risk assessments per Company standards.
• Consult with managers and regulators regarding findings and remediation.
• Deliver IH training programs and implement company standards.
• Travel domestically up to 40–50%, some international travel possible.
