TTI Environmental, Inc. is seeking a full-time Industrial Hygiene Technician to join our Industrial Hygiene Division.

This hybrid role combines field monitoring with occasional days at our Moorestown, New Jersey office, and emphasizes asbestos, lead paint, and indoor air quality investigations. You will conduct on-site inspections, surveys, air monitoring, and contractor oversight during abatement projects, maintain and calibrate equipment, and prepare technical reports interpreting analytical

Qualifications

• EPA/AHERA accreditation preferred for asbestos inspection.
• Lead licenses preferred.
• Knowledge of building mechanical systems and construction.
• High School or Mechanical/Trade School Diploma; Associate/B.S. in Environmental Science preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor asbestos, mold, lead paint, and IAQ on-site.
• Conduct surveys for asbestos, lead-based paint, right-to-know, and mold.
• Perform air monitoring and oversee abatement work.
• Operate and calibrate sampling and monitoring equipment.
• Write technical reports and interpret data.
• Meet deadlines; respond promptly to emergencies.
• Assignments vary in complexity under a project manager.

Industrial Hygiene Technician – Industrial Hygiene Division

TTI Environmental, Inc. is an integrated environmental services contractor and consulting firm. TTI services government, industrial, commercial, academic, financial, and private clients nationwide and is headquartered in Moorestown, New Jersey.

TTI is seeking a full-time Industrial Hygiene Technician to join our Industrial Hygiene Division. Facility based assignments are anticipated for this role. Current Industrial Hygiene certifications are preferred, and candidates should have related project experience with Asbestos, Lead Paint, and Indoor Air Quality investigation. This is a hybrid position – working in the field with occasional trips to TTI’s Moorestown office.

Responsibilities

• Inspection and on-site monitoring for asbestos, mold, lead paint, and indoor air quality
• Conduct detailed surveys for asbestos, lead based paint, right to know, and mold
• Perform air monitoring and contractor oversight during asbestos abatement projects
• Maintain, operate, and calibrate a variety of sampling and monitoring equipment
• Technical report writing and interpretation of analytical data
• Timeliness, time management, ability to meet deadlines, and responsiveness to emergencies are vital
• Assignments are of varying complexity and under direction of a project manager

Skills & Qualifications

• Current EPA/AHERA Asbestos Building Inspector accreditation preferred
• Lead licenses preferred
• Knowledge of general building mechanical systems and building construction
• High School or Mechanical/Trade School Diploma
• Associate or B.S. in Environmental Science preferred
• Exhibit clear, concise verbal and written communication skills
• General computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Independent thinking and self-motivation are essential

Requirements

• Asbestos, Lead Paint, and IAQ certifications are preferred
• 4 years of relative industrial hygiene and field experience is preferred
• Ability to commute to remote sites as needed
• Willingness to work limited weekends and second shift
• Ability to perform field work and meet physical demands
• Must be able to carry up to 30 lbs. of equipment and use ladders
• Willingness to learn, complete training, and obtain various certifications
• Valid driver’s license and ability to successfully pass pre-employment screening and physical
• Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
