Job summary

TTI Environmental, Inc. is seeking a full-time Industrial Hygiene Technician in Moorestown, NJ, to join the Industrial Hygiene Division. The role is hybrid with field work and occasional trips to the Moorestown office.

Responsibilities include on-site monitoring for asbestos, mold, lead paint, and IAQ; detailed surveys; air monitoring; equipment calibration; and technical report writing. Certifications are preferred and related project experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Current EPA/AHERA Asbestos Building Inspector accreditation preferred.
• Lead licenses preferred.
• Knowledge of general building mechanical systems and building construction.
• High School or Mechanical/Trade School Diploma.
• Associate or B.S. in Environmental Science preferred.
• Exhibit clear, concise verbal and written communication skills.
• General computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Conduct detailed surveys for asbestos, lead based paint, right to know, and mold.
• Perform air monitoring and contractor oversight during asbestos abatement projects.

• Timeliness, time management, ability to meet deadlines, and responsiveness to emergencies are vital.
• Assignments are of varying complexity and under direction of a project manager.

Industrial Hygiene Technician – Industrial Hygiene Division

TTI Environmental, Inc. is an integrated environmental services contractor and consulting firm. TTI services government, industrial, commercial, academic, financial, and private clients nationwide and is headquartered in Moorestown, New Jersey.

TTI is seeking a full-time Industrial Hygiene Technician to join our Industrial Hygiene Division. Facility based assignments are anticipated for this role. Current Industrial Hygiene certifications are preferred, and candidates should have related project experience with Asbestos, Lead Paint, and Indoor Air Quality investigation. This is a hybrid position – working in the field with occasional trips to TTI’s Moorestown office.

Requirements

• Asbestos, Lead Paint, and IAQ certifications are preferred
• 4 years of relative industrial hygiene and field experience is preferred
• Ability to commute to remote sites as needed
• Willingness to work limited weekends and second shift
• Ability to perform field work and meet physical demands
• Must be able to carry up to 30 lbs. of equipment and use ladders
• Willingness to learn, complete training, and obtain various certifications
• Valid driver’s license and ability to successfully pass pre-employment screening and physical
• Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
