Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum two years of experience in hydroblasting or related field.
• TWIC card required for site access.
• Basic knowledge of hydro blasting equipment and hazards.
• NCCER certifications may be required at some job sites.
• Written pre-employment qualification test must be passed.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Adherence to client safety requirements (ppe, clean shaven, etc.).
• Safety equipment as required by the client (PPE) and ability to work in tough environments.
• Applicant/employee must not pose a direct health or safety threat.

Responsibilities

• Move controls to adjust pressure and grit concentration to obtain the specified finish.
• Wear gloves and a helmet or hood to protect against sand-laden air and injuries.
• Mask areas not being sandblasted and order materials as needed.
• Perform assignments per supervisor's direction.
