Job summary

Turner Industries in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a Hydroblaster to remove scale, paint, rust and dirt from metal surfaces using abrasive-laden air or water jets. The role is non-exempt and reports to the Foreman.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least two years of experience, TWIC card, and NCCER certifications where required. Safety gear and strict site rules apply. We offer benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of experience.
• TWIC card required.
• NCCER certifications may be required at some sites.
• Pre-employment qualification test and drug/alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Direct blasts of abrasive-laden air or water to remove scale, paint, rust and dirt.
• Maintain safety equipment and follow client site requirements.
• Adjust pressure and nozzle to achieve specified finish.
• Follow supervisor's instructions and report progress.
