Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Hydroblaster for a Monroe, LA assignment. The role involves directing blasts of abrasive-laden air or water to remove scale, paint, rust, and dirt from metal surfaces, ensuring an even finish.

This non-exempt position reports to the Foreman and adheres to client safety requirements and site procedures. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of experience, and a TWIC card.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required and two years of experience.
• TWIC card is required to access certain job sites.
• NCCER certifications may be required at some sites.
• Written pre-employment qualification test administered.

Responsibilities

• Move controls to adjust pressure and grit concentration for finish quality.
• Wear protective gear including helmet, gloves, respirator, and safety glasses.
• Mask areas not being sandblasted and order materials as needed.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
