Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Hydroblaster for a position in the Texas area. The Hydroblaster directs blasts of abrasive-laden air or water to remove scale, paint, rust and dirt and to impart an even finish.

This is a non-exempt role reporting to the Foreman with duties assigned by procedures and regular checks. Essential qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of experience, TWIC card, basic knowledge of hydro blasting equipment, and possible NCCER

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of experience in hydroblasting.
• TWIC card required and NCCER certifications may be needed at some sites.
• Written pre-employment qualification test and post-offer drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Moves controls to adjust pressure and concentration of grit to obtain the specified finish.
• Wear protective gear and PPE; may mask areas not being blasted.
• Perform duties per supervisor's direction and safety procedures.
