Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Technician for service work in NY/NJ. The candidate will perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on commercial/industrial HVAC systems, interpret operation sequences, and maintain accurate service records.

Strong customer relations and teamwork are essential. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and an HVAC apprenticeship or equivalent experience, with EPA universal certification and OSHA 30.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years HVAC experience on commercial/industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and follow safety policies, write routine reports, and present information.
• Knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems; basic math; read blueprints & schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install replacement equipment and parts per manufacturer specs.
• Perform preventive maintenance per established standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVACR malfunctions per EPA standards.
• Follow maintenance schedule and maintain accurate logs.
• Complete documentation including timesheets, expense reports, and service logs.
• Support safety training, meetings, and tool/vehicle upkeep.
