Job summary

Brunswick Corporation, headquartered in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, is seeking an HVAC Technician to install, maintain and repair HVAC systems for our Mercury Marine division. The role focuses on air quality systems, warranty work, and safety compliance with strong troubleshooting and organizational skills.

Ideal candidates hold EPA certification and a Journeyman HVAC card or have 8+ years of verifiable HVAC experience, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; technical diploma in HVAC-related coursework preferred.
• Possess current HVAC certifications/licenses, including EPA certification.
• Journeyman HVAC card OR a minimum of eight (8) years of verifiable HVAC technician experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing education and professional development in the HVAC field.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
• Working knowledge of boiler systems.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
• Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing Heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
