Job summary

Brunswick Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac, WI seeks a skilled HVAC Technician to install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, read schematics, and perform warranty services while prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, an HVAC technical diploma, Journeyman card, EPA certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; technical diploma in HVAC-related coursework preferred.
• Possess current HVAC certifications/licenses, including EPA certification.
• Must possess a Journeyman HVAC card OR have a minimum of eight (8) years of verifiable HVAC technician experience.
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reading schematics and work plans.
• Ability to work after hours, weekends and holidays with short or no notice.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.

Position Overview: As part of the talented Facilities team, you will install, maintain and repair Industrial HVAC systems. The HVAC technician will be skilled in cleaning, adjusting, and repairing Heating and Air conditioning systems. You will be responsible for air quality systems by performing maintenance, warranty, and emergency repairs. To be successful in this role, customer satisfaction, safety and comfort should be your top priority. Ideal candidates will have excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing education and professional development in the HVAC field.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
• Working knowledge of boiler systems.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
• Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.

The anticipated pay for this position is $42.42 per hour.
