Mercury Marine, a division of Brunswick Corporation, is headquartered in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Brunswick seeks an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to maintain production equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support tooling and dies to meet production needs.

The role involves troubleshooting CNC machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems, with safety and teamwork emphasized on the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state-registered Journeyman card in Maintenance Mechanic Trade or a minimum of 8 years documented experience in the trade.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of Robots, Mazak CNC machinery, hydraulics, and pneumatically controlled equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance blueprints, schematics, sketches, and drawings.
• Ability to use tools and measuring devices common to the Maintenance Mechanic's Trade.
• Basic working knowledge of electricity, welding, hydraulics and mechanical functions.
• Ability to plan and lay out work with limited supervision.
• Ability to train, supervise and guide apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance on equipment in a heavy industrial environment.
• Troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery, heat treat furnaces, and other equipment.
• Assist in moving machines and materials as required.
• Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and specifications.
• Troubleshoot, rebuild and repair equipment for pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and minor electrical faults.
• Provide sheet metal work for guards, ducting, and related parts.
• Maintain knowledge of all plant equipment functions for safe and efficient operation.
• Work in a team environment and adhere to safety policies.
