Job summary

Planet Group is seeking an HVAC Technician II to maintain and optimize critical HVAC and mechanical systems in a Northeast Ohio facility. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work in a complex commercial/industrial environment.

You will read schematics, diagnose issues, and implement effective repairs while supporting reliability and uptime. A EPA Universal Certification and a valid driver's license are required, with first shift hours and competitive pay based

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Experience with commercial/industrial HVAC systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair AHUs, RTUs, chillers, boilers, and related systems.
• Diagnose issues, identify root causes, and implement repairs.
• Monitor building automation to optimize performance.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals; document activities.
• Support reliability initiatives and reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams; participate in on-call rotations.
