Job summary

Southern Refrigeration and Mechanical, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to join our Greenville, AL team. This full-time, on-site role services mission-critical industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including NH₃ and CO₂ solutions.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and carry out repairs while supporting emergency calls and system startups. Collaboration with engineering and project teams ensures reliability and uptime.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Proficient troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
• Field service experience at client facilities with clear service documentation.
• Strong customer service to explain technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues and carry out repairs, including NH3/CO2 systems.
• Conduct field service visits to customer facilities and complete service reports.
• Assist with emergency calls and startup/retrofit activities.
• Follow safety procedures and regulatory requirements in all tasks.
