Job summary

SPX Cooling Technologies, a part of SPX Technologies, Inc., is seeking an Assembler (C) to join our air handling equipment manufacturing team in Olathe, KS. You will assemble and install components, follow blueprints, and work to safety, quality, and schedule standards.

The role requires basic mechanical aptitude and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Shifts include 1st and 2nd, with OT as needed; pay is $26.03 per hour plus a $2.00/hour differential for 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to learn blueprint reading and assembly processes.
• Ability to work safely with hand and pneumatic tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, adjust, and install prefabricated parts to manufacture air handling systems
• Interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, bills of material, and engineering revisions accurately
• Independently assemble complete air handling units from start to finish using drawings and build orders
• Assist with assembly of fan sections, coil sections, and related air handling system components
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with company standards
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards
