SPX Technologies, Springfield, MO, is seeking an Assembly Technician to build metal products for industrial HVAC equipment. You will assemble parts at bench or shop floor, position components, fasten with bolts or screws, and operate drills and hand tools to produce units ready for final inspection.

Requires a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent) and the ability to read simple instructions, write basic notes, and perform basic arithmetic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, and short correspondence.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information clearly.

Responsabilités

• Positions parts according to unit being assembled or controlled documents.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, or other fasteners.
• Operates drills, hand/air impact wrenches, and hand tools.
• Produces a completed unit capable of passing final inspection.
• Other duties as assigned.
