Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead Industrial/Hospitality projects in Austin. You will coordinate all facets to deliver on time, within budget, and to the specified quality, serving as the primary leader for the project.

Responsibilities include creating and managing budgets, developing pre-construction RFPs, conducting meetings, setting milestones, and producing monthly owner reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, four-year degree in construction, engineering or business preferred.
• 5+ years of commercial construction experience, including general contracting.
• Experience in a project management role handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Mastery of reading construction drawings and related documentation.
• Proficiency with ProCore, Microsoft Office, Adobe, BlueBeam, and JD Edwards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety standards and ensure required documentation is filed.
• Create and manage project budgets for all assigned projects.
• Develop and collaborate on pre-construction RFP packages.
• Lead project meetings, set milestones, and prepare monthly owner reports.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and pay applications; negotiate change orders.
• Plan project scheduling, ensure quality control, and oversee logistics.
• Oversee closeout processes efficiently.
• Engage with clients to discuss needs and align services.
• Supervise assistant project managers, administrative staff, and MEP teams.
• Collaborate with superintendent and site operations throughout the project.
