Qualifications

• Demonstrated history of managing high-pressure steam boilers in large commercial or industrial environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with practical experience in industrial equipment repair and boiler mechanics.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding control system documentation, technical schematics, and blueprints.
• Skilled in executing equipment maintenance, including mechanical repairs, welding, and troubleshooting industrial machinery to help ensure the longevity of critical facility equipment.
• Understanding of building automation, HVAC/R, hydraulics, and various engineering troubleshooting methods.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-pressure steam and industrial boiler units while strictly adhering to established safety guidelines and operational mandates.
• Oversee boiler output by utilizing control boards, gauges, and building automation tools to enhance system performance.
• Perform regular assessments of pumps, valves, and auxiliary hardware to help maintain a reliable and safe working environment for the entire team.
• Utilize engineering diagnostics and technical blueprints to perform mechanical repairs and troubleshoot boiler systems.
• Document operational metrics and maintenance tasks to ensure accurate reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Carry out preventative maintenance duties such as calibrating, cleaning, and replacing parts to help ensure the longevity of critical facility equipment.
• Apply welding techniques to complete minor fixes on piping or boiler parts when required.
• Analyze technical diagrams and schematics to support precise system modifications and repairs.
• Work alongside engineering staff to resolve complicated problems regarding HVAC/R, hydraulics, and automated building controls.
• Participate in safety training and audits to help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team.
