Job summary

EMCOR Group in Huntington Beach is seeking a skilled boiler technician to maintain and operate boiler systems and related equipment. You will perform daily checks, PM tasks, safety testing, and tuning to ensure reliable, efficient performance in a commercial HVAC environment.

Candidates should have a 4-year apprenticeship or technical schooling and 5+ years of commercial air conditioning experience. Availability for emergency calls and a valid driver’s license are required; Staefa/Siemens EMS

Qualifications

• Must have completed a 4-year apprenticeship program or technical schooling.
• Must have 5+ years of commercial air conditioning experience.
• Must be available for emergency call outs.
• Must be a team player and able to work with other trades and client’s staff.
• EMS experience a plus (Staefa/Siemens).
• Valid driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily operations of boilers.
• Complete daily checks and maintain necessary operating records.
• Perform PM maintenance and repairs to boilers and associated equipment.
• Perform monthly testing of all safeties.
• Complete annual tuning and inspections of boilers.
• Monitor chemical feeds for boiler systems.

Geographic Disclosure

Compensation Range: $48.41 - $65.49 per hour

The hourly rate is determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results. Benefits are provided through local labor union aligned with collective bargaining agreement.
