Job summary

Accelera is seeking a Boiler Tear Down Technician to manage disassembly, evaluation, maintenance, and reconstruction of boiler systems on site. You will diagnose degradation, perform essential fixes, and restore units to peak performance, handling both high- and low-pressure environments with a safety-first mindset.

Your role involves precise teardown, repair, and rebuilding work, contributing to downtime reduction and system longevity.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining boiler systems.
• Track record of disassembling, repairing and rebuilding boilers.
• Exposure to high- and low-pressure boiler configurations.
• Understanding mechanical processes for removing, assessing and installing boiler parts.
• Safe operation of hand and power tools in a boiler service setting.

Responsibilities

• Execute full/partial teardowns of boiler units.
• Break down boiler assemblies for inspections and maintenance.
• Remove, clean, and reinstall parts to extend boiler longevity.
• Evaluate internal parts for corrosion or wear requiring replacement.
• Document findings to help scope repairs.
• Perform mechanical repairs and swap damaged parts.
• Reconstruct boiler systems after maintenance or repair.
• Support during outages, shutdowns, and maintenance projects.
• Use hand and power tools to dismantle and rebuild systems.
• Keep workspace tidy and parts stored properly.
• Report status and repair needs to the team.
• Adhere to safety protocols around pressurized equipment.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and per SOPs.
