Accelera is seeking an Industrial Facilities Technician to ensure the smooth operation of production by maintaining critical machinery and infrastructure. The role focuses on reliable equipment performance and supporting manufacturing output through skilled mechanical and structural repairs.

The candidate will perform complex repairs, welding, piping design/maintenance, and mentorship of junior staff to boost department efficiency in a heavy industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certification or equivalent industrial maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to perform manual labor in a heavy industrial or foundry-style environment.
• Physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to read technical documentation and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex repairs and preventive maintenance on diverse industrial machinery and auxiliary components.
• Perform electric arc and acetylene welding to support structural integrity and equipment modifications.
• Design, install, and maintain piping systems, including tubing, fixtures, and fluid networks.
• Utilize precision measuring devices and power tools to diagnose mechanical issues and restore performance.
• Mentor junior staff to improve department efficiency.
• Manage material handling tasks, including forklifts, to support installations and maintenance.
