Scot Forge in Spring Grove, Illinois seeks a Furnace Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial furnaces supporting critical manufacturing operations. This hands-on role offers a long-term career with an employee-owned company.

2nd shift options include 1:00 PM–12:00 AM, 3:00 PM–2:00 AM, 7:00 PM–6:00 AM with a 10% shift premium. You will work with large systems, perform TUS/SAT, and document activities to ensure safe operations.

Qualificações

Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting equipment.
One or more years of maintenance, repair, or related mechanical experience.
Experience repairing motors, machinery, vehicles, or industrial equipment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 60 feet.

Responsabilidades

Troubleshoot, install, repair, calibrate, and maintain industrial furnaces.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and combustion-related issues.
Rebuild and repair heavy industrial equipment and furnace systems.
Perform Temperature Uniformity Surveys (TUS) and System Accuracy Tests (SAT).
Operate, inspect, and troubleshoot furnace control systems.
Document repairs and maintenance activities.
Promote a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
