Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Experience with safety and environmental training.
• Minimum 1 year manufacturing/factory experience preferred in a fast paced setting.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to use some hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow policies, procedures and instructions.
• Identify and report product, process and quality system non-conformities to lead personnel.
• Support implementation of corrective/preventative and improvement actions.
• Proper use of personal protective equipment when required.
• Proper housekeeping of the work area.
• Follow plant safety guidelines, practices, and procedures including proper PPE.
• Use the battery assembly diagram to figure out layout of the battery.
• Place intercells on the cells in proper order; use a hand torch to burn remaining intercells and cell button together.
• Examine work order for any special items.
• Responsible for measuring cable layout and length; assemble cables with proper lead head and install onto the battery.
• Familiar and compliant with Crown Quality System and its relation to this position.
