Job summary

Crown Battery Corporation is seeking a Support Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift in Fremont, OH. You will perform preventative and basic maintenance on environmental control equipment, HVAC systems, and production support gear, with potential to lead and train others. The role requires adherence to safety and quality standards and may include supervisory duties as needed. This is a full-time, evening shift position.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Technical degree with 5+ years or HS diploma with 7+ years of maintenance experience.
• Advanced knowledge of 480-volt 3-phase electricity, HVAC knowledge, and PLC controls.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a maintenance program for environmental control and production equipment.
• Perform preventative and basic maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Lead and train lower-level maintenance personnel; may assume Maintenance Supervisor duties.
• Ensure compliance with Crown Quality System policies and safety guidelines.
• Coordinate parts procurement and schedule maintenance to minimize downtime.
