The Forklift Technician performs routine maintenance on forklifts, scissor lifts, tuggers, floor scrubbers, and golf carts at customer facilities to maximize uptime.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Experience as a material handling equipment mechanic.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to organize own work and work independently, with limited supervision.
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs, and across remote offices.
• Ability to articulate ideas to customers and listen to needs.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong workplace relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain industrial mobile equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform root cause analysis.
• Complete repairs of equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
• Adhere to safety requirements and complete safety training modules.
• Record work hours and service records accurately in systems.
• Communicate with supervisor and co-workers by phone, email, or in person.
• Complete work orders promptly and maintain a clean, organized work area.
