Job summary

Concentric, LLC is seeking a Forklift Technician to perform routine maintenance on industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, tuggers, scrubbers, and golf carts. The role focuses on proactive upkeep and timely repairs to maximize uptime across client facilities.

The technician will follow manufacturer guidelines, document work, and coordinate with supervisors to ensure high safety and quality standards are met. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School or GED Diploma required.
• Experience as a material handling equipment mechanic.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to organize his/her own work and work independently, with limited supervision.
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs, and across remote offices.
• Ability to clearly articulate ideas to customers and listen effectively.
• Develop and maintain strong workplace relationships with emphasis on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments toward the greater good of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain industrial mobile equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, including root cause analysis; research warranty/rework options.
• Complete repairs of equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
• Consider costs/benefits to choose the best action.
• Inspect equipment audits per PM Planning tools in Field Connect.
• Provide information to supervisor, colleagues, and customers by various means.
• Finish work orders and service records per Concentric time standard.
• Log work hours accurately in Paylocity.
