The Field Technician will perform routine maintenance on forklifts and other industrial equipment, ensuring safety and reliability across customer sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• High School or GED Diploma required.
• Experience as a material handling equipment mechanic is required.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to organize his/her own work and work independently, with limited supervision.
• Ability to travel Nationwide, with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, tuggers, floor scrubbers, and golf carts.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform root-cause analysis.
• Complete repairs per manufacturer guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and perform audits per PM planning tools.
• Document work hours and service records accurately.
• Communicate with supervisor and coworkers by phone, in writing, e-mail, or in person.
• Travel nationwide for field work.
