The role requires strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, familiarity with PLCs, SCADA/HMI, and safety regulations (GMP, HACCP, OSHA).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school preferred.
• 5+ years in industrial manufacturing, automated food processing preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, mixers, packaging equipment, and refrigeration.
• Inspect, lubricate, and adjust equipment to meet production needs.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions; identify root causes to minimize downtime.
• Respond to emergencies with prompt unscheduled repairs during production.
• Maintain clean, organized production area complying with sanitation standards.
• Monitor and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems as needed.
• Follow safety protocols (lockout/tagout, PPE) and participate in safety training.
• Document maintenance actions, work orders, and equipment history in CMMS.
