Job summary

FHE is seeking a Fluid Power Technician to apply hydraulics and small engine knowledge across the build and service lifecycle of essential industrial equipment. You will assemble new components, diagnose and repair grease units, hydraulic parts, and air-operated pumps to ensure reliable fluid-powered systems in oilfield environments.

Required experience includes hand and electric power tools use, plus basic diesel engine knowledge; high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

Experience using hand and electric power tools.
Basic knowledge of small diesel engines.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform all assigned work tasks in a safe manner and abide by all safety regulations.
Service grease units for the oil field.
Rebuild and replace hydraulic components and air operated pumps.
Monitor parts/inventory needed for current & upcoming jobs.
Assemble new grease units.
Troubleshoot grease unit circuits and hydraulic circuits.
Complete parts sheets, requisitions, and other job documentation.
Maintain all tools within the department.
Any other duties or tasks assigned, based on business and Supervisor’s request.
