Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a Technician within Engineered Sales, an Applied Fluid Power subsidiary, to inspect products and apply experience in mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic assemblies to support customer satisfaction and drive business growth. You will visually verify compliance, functionally test performance, and use hand tools and testing fixtures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in component level trouble shooting and repair.
• 1+ year working knowledge of pumps, valves, motors, and cylinders.
• 1+ year working knowledge of troubleshooting hydraulic circuits.

Responsabilités

• Visually verifies product compliance to customer and company specifications.
• Functionally verifies product performance to the defined test criteria.
• Utilizes hand and power tools, electronic and pneumatic testing fixtures and devices.
• Completes department work assignments in a timely manner.
• Creates rework instructions or redlines documentation and communicates corrective action direction to appropriate parties when necessary.
• Shifts work assignment priorities when needed and as directed.
• Maintains organization of tools and station cleanliness.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

Position Requirements

• 5+ years experience in component level trouble shooting and repair
• 1+ year working knowledge of all brands of pumps, valves, motors, and cylinders
• 1+ year working knowledge of troubleshooting hydraulic circuits
• High school diploma or GED

Preferred

• Purchasing experience
• IFPS certification
• Bending tube and pipe experience
• General welding skills
