Job summary

FHE is seeking a Fluid Power Technician to apply hydraulics and small engine knowledge across the build and service lifecycle of essential industrial equipment. You will assemble new components, diagnose and repair grease units, hydraulic parts, and air-operated pumps to ensure reliable fluid-powered systems in oilfield environments.

Required experience includes hand and electric power tools use, plus basic diesel engine knowledge; high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all assigned work tasks in a safe manner and abide by all safety regulations.
• Service grease units for the oil field.

• Assemble new grease units.
• Troubleshoot grease unit circuits and hydraulic circuits.
• Complete parts sheets, requisitions, and other job documentation.
• Maintain all tools within the department.
• Any other duties or tasks assigned, based on business and Supervisor’s request.

The Fluid Power Technician applies technical expertise in hydraulics, fluid power principles, and small engine mechanics to the comprehensive build and service lifecycle of critical industrial equipment. Primary responsibilities include the precision assembly of new components and the diagnosis and repair of existing units, specifically focusing on grease units, hydraulic components, and air-operated pumps. This role ensures the reliable function and high performance of essential fluid-powered systems.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform all assigned work tasks in a safe manner and abide by all safety regulations
• Service grease units for the oil field
• Rebuild and replace hydraulic components and air operated pumps
• Monitor parts/inventory needed for current & upcoming jobs

Education and Experience
